Time for Change: Art and Social Unrest in the Jorge M. Pérez Collection co-edited by José Roca and [NAME] Publications, bring a variety of voices together to shed light upon the complexities of the works in the exhibition and will include newly commissioned texts, historical contributions, and interviews with artists. By joining new writing with previously published material, the publication seeks to offer readers a sense of the divergent ways in which the exhibition and its works might be understood. This 400-page, fully illustrated publication is designed by Katy Nelson and includes contributions by Denise Ferreira da Silva, Coco Fusco, Suhail Malik, Laura Raicovich, Tobias Ostrander, and Antwaun Sargent. Interviews with artists Tania Candiani, Claudia Coca, Gilda Mantilla and Raimond Chaves, and Barthélémy Toguo by curator José Roca. As both a supplement and a response, this reader includes previously published material by Simone Browne, Tania Bruguera, Aimé Césaire and Suzanne Césaire, Ashon Crawley, Angela Davis, Okwui Enwezor, Nick Estes, Eugenio Dittborn, René Francisco Rodríguez, Carlos Garaicoa, Andrea Giunta, Macarena Gómez-Barris, Boris Groys, Miguel A.
