Mirror of the Mind: Figuration in the Jorge M. Pérez Collection

Mirror of the Mind explores the entangled and inseparable relationship between the physical and emotional dimensions of the body. Bringing together works by more than 120 artists, the exhibition uses figuration and portraiture to examine the complexities of the human condition—addressing perception, trauma, healing, introspection, belonging, and their impact on the flesh. Across photography, painting, sculpture, and video, the body emerges as a vessel that experiences, records, and transforms throughout life’s journey.
