Raquel Carrera is a curator from Havana, Cuba. She has a B.A. in Art History and postgraduate degrees in Design and Art Direction, from the University of Havana, Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, and the University of Salamanca. She has curated exhibitions in for the Museum of Latin American Art (LA) and for the Smart Museum (Chicago), as well as exhibition in Cuba, Peru, and elsewhere. She recently joined Curatorial Department at the Museum of Fine Art Houston for a one-year appointment as a Research Associate.
